Brittany’s intricate contours of coves and inlets total over 1000 kilometres and they account for for a quarter of France’s coastline. No matter where your Brittany property is, you are never more than 100 kilometres away from the sea.
Coastal Brittany property is expensive across all four départements, reaching its zenith in Morbihan property where resorts such as Vannes and Carnac bask in an almost Mediterranean-style climate. This balmy microclimate guarantees the longest holiday rental season in Brittany.

View All PropertiesThe best value Brittany property is found in the sparsely populated villages and rolling wooded hills of the interior – known as the Argoat. Brittany property to renovate is increasingly rare but it can still be found here.
Côtes-d'Armor property strectches from Dinard via the Ile de Bréhat to the Côte de Granit Rose and it can be expensive, but cheaper Brittany property can be found just inland around Guingamp. Finistère property is generally less prized than that of its neighbouring départements but Quimper property still represents good value for money – the town is beautiful and it offers quick access to spectacular beaches.
Ille et Villaine property boasts the sought after locations of St. Malo and Rennes. Although the climate is not as warm as that of southern Brittany, St. Malo property is expensive as this is an enchanting and vibrant port with daily crossings to the UK. Albeit inland, Rennes property is similarly expensive; this is Brittany’s capital and only cosmopolitan city. Rennes frequently tops opinion polls for the French city with the best quality of life and as such there is great long-term letting potential on the domestic market.
