View All PropertiesNot only is Paris property comparatively affordable and increasingly accessible, but with 20 arrondissements to choose from, there is something for every budget. Let our Paris property finders find the right property in the right place at the right price for you.
Your reason for buying will to a large extent govern your choice of arrondissement but even if you’re buying exclusively for personal use then you are still making a great investment: property in the historic centre is heavily protected and with tight planning restrictions in place and a lack of available building land, annual capital growth averages 10 per cent.
If you’re targeting the tourist rental sector then the trendy Marais area (4th arrondissement), the village-like Latin Quarter (5th arrondissement) and arty Montmartre (18th arrondissement) are always popular – especially if your property is in a typically Parisian street with lots of pavement cafés, bistros and boutiques.
If commuting time to London is your primary concern then the 10th arrondissement should be considered as this is the home of the Eurostar terminal and the Gare du Nord.
If you’re buying Paris property to let then this is a wise choice: Paris is the world’s most visited city, an international business hub and a Mecca for students. If you want to target the corporate market then look no further than La Défense which is home to over 1,500 companies – many welcoming employees on overseas placements. The 8th, 16th and 17th arrondissements are conveniently located so well appointed, tastefully furnished accommodation with internet access near to a Métro or RER station with a direct line to La Défense will be highly sought after.
The 5th arrondissement is perfect for student lets as there are a number of higher-education institutions such as the Ecole Polytechnique and the Sorbonne as well as the charming rue Mouffetard.
