May this be the property you are looking for? CAGNAC-LES-MINES, CITÉ DES HOMPS - 10 minutes from Albi and the POP'A shopping center in Lescure d'Albigeois Built between 1930 and 1935, this house has been completely transformed through a renovation project that began in 2013. Originally intended for foreign workers at the mine, it has evolved far beyond its historical roots. The house offers approximately 101 m² of living space. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom of over 13 m², a study of around 9 m² (which can also serve as a bedroom), a fitted bathroom, a practical utility room with access to the basement, and a separate toilet. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped. The two dwellings that were once intertwined have now been combined to create a vast living space, more comfortable for a family. Upstairs, a bedroom with over 30 m² of usable space and a toilet complete the layout. The windows have been modernized with double-glazed PVC frames, including two Velux windows with blackout blinds in the attic. A sliding glass door equipped with an electric shutter opens onto a terrace. Since 2020, the house is no longer connected to gas. Heating is provided by electric radiators in two rooms, as well as by two reversible air conditioners installed in 2013 and 2020 (a far cry from the time when the only source of heat was a coal stove in the main room). In addition to these amenities, the house has a large cellar with direct access to the garden. The garden, also accessible from the street, offers the possibility of parking on the property if necessary, although on-street parking is widely available. This house is perfect for a family wishing to settle in a peaceful environment steeped in history. Please contact us for any additional information.
