Your ski chalet or apartment here is easily accessed by no-frills flights into Biarritz, Perpignan, Pau, Toulouse and Carcassonne. If you’re buying ski property to let then resorts in the foothills closer to the beaches of the Med, such as Font-Romeu, will allow you to put together a ‘ski and sea’ package.

In the Auvergne, the spa town of Le Mont Dore is one of the oldest ski stations in France and buying a ski property here will afford you the totally unique experience of skiing down the side of an extinct volcano! Almost as memorable is skiing through the dense forests of the Vosges mountains in eastern France.
